Serving Students Nutritious Foods They Like To Eat- The RSD Nutrition Services Department is proud to offer students a variety of nutritious food choices daily. Both breakfast and lunch meals meet 1/3 of the daily dietary allowance and are in compliance with the USDA, ODE and local guidelines. The National School Breakfast and Lunch Meal Programs meet State and Federal nutrient standards. Menu nutrient information is posted in our cafeterias and on our web page.
Student Meal Accounts- All students have computerized meal accounts and student ID may be required. Accounts may be used to purchase full meals, extra milk or ala carte entrees in the campus cafe.
Account Deposits– Deposits are made directly at the student’s school nutrition services area or online. Quick Deposit boxes are available in each school office. Using the envelopes provided, complete the information insert the cash or check and deposit it in the Quick Deposit Box.
· Checks will be deposited in meal accounts IN FULL-no cash back. All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 service fee. Include student information on checks (first and last name).
· Cash is accepted in any denomination for account deposits. At the elementary level cash will be deposited in the student’s account in full. At the secondary level change may be provided upon student request for cash deposits of $20.00 or less if the student’s account is current. No change will be provided at any level for $50 or $100 bills. These bills will be deposited in entirety to the student meal account.
