District policy mandates that everyone has a responsibility to use consumable resources and energy wisely.
Recycling
As a part of resource conservation, all facilities practice recycling. Waste management has become much more user friendly with "commingled" recycling. Red recycle bins are reserved for glass only, all colors. Blue recycle bins or roll carts are for all other commingled items. Green Schools
Some schools incorporate recycling and resource conservation as a part of their leadership programs and receive special "Green School" recognition for their efforts. Redmond High School has had "Green School" accreditation since March of 2002.
