Anime Club – Anime Club supports Japanese language acquisition and Japanese classes by watching Japanese animation in the Japanese language. Ballet Folklorico- The components of Ballet Folklorico are, exercise, culture and tradition! Dancers learn expression, self-discipline and work together to meet team goals. Ballet Folklorico Dance Team will also perform at various community events and school functions. Club practice is twice a week Monday’s and Wednesdays at the Hartman campus. Chess Club – Chess Club provides a place for kids to meet and explore a common interest. As the game of chess is one that helps enhance critical thinking, it is a good fit for a campus club, where intellectual and social growth is important. |

Drug & Alcohol Prevention Team - This club enables students to be informed and engaged in activities that promote prevention in drug and alcohol throughout the school year. |

Future Business Leaders of America – FBLA is the premier organization for student leaders preparing for careers in business, management, entrepreneurship, and information technology. Through FBLA’s motto if Service, Education and Progress students participate in innovative leadership and career development programs on the local, district, state and national levels. FBLA meets the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00 am in the South Auditorium and the 3rd Tuesday of every month during lunch in the South Auditorium. Global Nomads – Global Nomads is an organization of current and past Foreign Exchange students and any current RHS students that wish to participate for the purpose of learning about other cultures and countries of our world. Meetings will consist of learning, games, food, movie night and other activities. Global Nomads meets the 3rd Friday of every month in the main campus commons afterschool. Key Club – Key Club is an international club in which kids learn about their community and work at providing service to their smaller and greater communities. The parent organization is Kiwanis International. The focus of both organizations is on kids, and how kids can learn to be actively involved in making their school, city, district and world a better place. Laughter Club – Laughter Club helps to reduce stress among staff and students. My Choice Club:
My Future-My Choice is a program where juniors and seniors are trained by the Deschutes County Health Department and then teach RSD middle school students about abstinence and healthy choices around sexuality. Advisor: nathan.saito@redmond.k12.or.us |

Redmond Ski Club – Redmond Ski Club is a group of alpine ski racers. This club competes in the central league of OISRA racing. The racers will be participating in dry land training in Redmond, and traveling to Hoodoo Mountain Resort for snow training, the racers will also be traveling to Mt. Bachelor for races. Sparrow Club USA-Sick kids get help. Healthy kids become heroes. Schools become sanctuaries. Sparrow Clubs USA is a national non-profit organization of school-based clubs that assist children in medical crisis. Through community service and fundraising projects, Sparrow Clubs support children who have either life threatening illnesses or chronic disabilities and whose families face financial hardship because of it. Individual schools and youth groups are paired with a qualified local child, often a classmate, who is facing a medical crisis. Sparrow Clubs offers young people a way to aid one another.

Si Tu Puedes – Si Tu Puedes provides opportunities for all students to have a better understanding of the Latino culture and it also provides the students with leadership skills and opportunities to grow through Academics, mentorship, and by giving to our community! Si Tu Puedes meets every other Wednesday from 1:45-2:45 pm in room 6A across from the library. Si Tu Puedes advisor is Nate Munoz and he can be reached at nate.munoz@redmond.k12.or.us. |

Thespian Troupe 3563 – Thespian troupe 3563 sponsors afterschool activities, promotes Theatre in school and out and helps students get involved at RHS. The Troupe also organizes service activities for members and others to help in Redmond and Bend communities. The troupe organizes the Fall Student One-Act Plays and award activities for the end of the year recognition banquet. | Redmond Young Life (RHS Chapter)- Where students come together for an hour of chaos. Crazy games, great company of other students, great leaders, music, snacks, and a 10 minute message in the end. Young Life meets every Monday night at One Street Down Cafe from 7:30pm-8:30pm. One Street Down Cafe is located downtown Redmond on the corner of Antler and 7th.
