Wanted: Students interested in giving back to their community at two local events happening Saturday June 1st. Redmond Parks & Rec is hosting a Summer Do-a-Thon, and looking for volunteers for shifts between 9am-6pm. Start Here Preschool is hosting a carnival fundraiser in Sam Johnson park and looking for volunteers to run carnival booths and other duties from 11am-2pm. See the bulletin board outside Art room 41 for contact information. These events can be eligible for your MYP community service hours.

Sophomores and Freshmen: Are you on the community service list for MYP? See the list posted outside art room 41 to check your status. Remember to complete your service and turn in your log and reflection by May 31st to earn your credit.

They’re here! Yearbooks, that is. Seniors will be the FIRST to pick up their 2013 Yearbook on Tuesday, May 28th. Seniors who have pre-paid for their books can pick them up at the Hard Rock Shop window on Tuesday, before school, during lunch, or after school.
For those students who have not paid for a yearbook yet, the few extra books that arrive will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman will not be able to pick up their books until Wednesday, the 29th.
Also, the yearbook publisher sent our school some extra yearbooks that were over-run copies from last year, 2012. If you did not get a yearbook from LAST YEAR 2012, these extras are on sale now for $15. First come, first serve – limited to supply on hand. See the yearbook staff in room #43 if interested.
