I’d like to extend a big McCall WELCOME to all the students and families who are new to our school this year, and a big WELCOME BACK to our returning Mustangs!  For those of you who have moved here from anywhere outside of Deschutes County, let me explain a little about the Family Access Network (or FAN).

The FAN Advocate works with students and families to help provide information about and access to support services in our community.  FAN can help connect you with resources such as the Oregon Health Plan, housing, food, clothing, parenting classes, counseling, recreation, childcare and much more.  There is a FAN Advocate at each school site in the Redmond School District and all FAN services are free to families of students in grades K-12.

If your family is in need of FAN services or you have questions about the types of services FAN provides, please feel free to give me a call at the McCall FAN office at  526-6400, ext. 4072.

Also, if your family is able to help with donations of children’s shoes or clothing, I would be extremely grateful!  If your children have outgrown their shoes or clothes before they’ve worn them out, we’d love it if you could run them through the wash and bring them in for a fellow student who needs them.

As always, if you have questions, needs, donations, time to volunteer or are just curious about what FAN is all about,
give me a call at 526-6400 ext. 4072.
