Tumalo students worked incredibly hard during our 1^st semester.  The growth that many of our students have shown academically and socially in 18 weeks has been amazing!  Throughout my classroom visits, I continue to be impressed by the high quality- engaging lessons that challenge and inspire the students of Tumalo School.  As we move into the mid-point of the year, I look forward to seeing the continued growth of our students. 

Community is a major thread that runs through Tumalo School.  I continue to work with Redmond School District, my staff and the community to offer additional opportunities for Tumalo School students.  As we move into the second semester, we will be adding some wonderful opportunities that continue to promote the whole child and our connection to community.  Before and after school fitness classes will begin along with middle school students learning to play the guitar and write songs.  In addition, we will add after school instruction in many grade levels for students who need additional academic support. 

Building community within our school and connecting kids with the community around them are part of who we are at Tumalo School!
