Welcome to the Terrebonne Community School’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) web page.    Terrebonne is one of two kindergarten through 8th grade schools in the Redmond School District.  Approximately 400 students attend here from a large geographic area in both Deschutes and Jefferson counties.   The staff consists of over 40 quality individuals with a number of areas of expertise.   We currently have 13 classroom teachers that are supported by both certified and classified employees in Special Education, Library/Media/Technology, English Language Learner (ELL), and Literacy Support Programs.  

The parent component at Terrebonne Community School remains strong with valued support from students’ parents and extended family.   There are many places to get involved with our kids from helping in classrooms on a regular basis, to providing clerical support and chaperoning field trips.   The group of parents that attend PTO meetings is consistently small, but far reaching.    We understand the crazy schedules of families in today’s culture and economy.   We hope that every parent can find a niche where they can feel like they can contribute to the welfare of our school and specifically our students.  

Terrebonne PTO has been the labor source for fundraisers over the past several years.   Collecting money for a much needed play structure, and supplementing the school budget by purchasing playground balls, jump ropes and hoola hoops - to name a few.   PTO has also been instrumental in making sure every classroom has up-to-date technology including document cameras and projection units.   

The partnership with teachers, students and parents is vital to the health of our school community.  We trust that you will become an active member of our school’s parent organization.
