The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) has released the school and district report cards for Redmond School District with data from the 2016-2017 school year.
“The state report cards allow our parents and community insight into our successes as well as areas for improvement,” Superintendent Mike McIntosh said. “While they do not tell the whole story, they do serve as a tool to help keep us accountable to both state and district goals.”
There are two versions of the Report Card. One shows school performance in comparison to state and like-school averages. The other provides detailed information about achievement and growth, and graduation rates for high schools.
ODE has stated this is the final year for the current report card format as work continues on a redesign. According to ODE, the redesigned report cards will aim at sharing information that is meaningful and accessible to parents, families and the broader school community.
The report cards for each school in the district are available on the district website at redmond.k12.or.us/about/district-school-report-cards/.
